We popped in for Sunday lunch having read some reviews which recommended this restaurant but with no booking. Lorenzo and Sveva were running the service and as we discovered are the owners of this absolute gem! A small menu with traditional dishes with a really modern twist. To be honest this is one of the best meals we have had in Rome and we would highly recommend this restaurant. It’s on our doorstep for the next 6 weeks and we will be going back regularly!

After God created the heavens and earth, separated the seas and skies, gathered the water and grew the vegetations, on the seventh day He rested. What the bible's authors failed to document was that on that day, an overwhelming hunger manifested in Him, one that could not be satiated only with vegetation he had created. So after resting the seventh day, Lo and behold the glories of Manco’s Bruschettone polpo rosticciato, the tasty Tonno in crosta di sesamo e verdure wok. Thou shall not forget the Tiramisu di Baccala for days when our sweet tooth needs to he satisfied.Bless this Italian ristorante, for they have changed the game, forever.

A beautiful and cozy place. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. We asked for one dish to share, and the staff member thoughtfully took the initiative to divide the portion into two equal servings on separate plates. If they hadn’t done that, we wouldn’t have minded, but this gesture was so kind and generous. It was one of the reasons we went back to eat there again.

As first-time visitors to Rome, my friend and I were excited to explore the local cuisine. This restaurant came highly recommended by some colleagues, and it did not disappoint! We dined there twice during our stay and sampled the classics: carbonara, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana, along with tiramisu. All the dishes were absolutely perfect! We wish we had more time to visit again and try some of the more intricate dishes from the menu.If you are in the area, definitely pay a visit and let your taste buds thank you.
